Twelve Questions to Ask Before You Buy a POS System in Iraq

Most disappointment with POS systems comes from questions that were not asked at the start. Take this list into every conversation, including ours.

Cost

  • What is the monthly price, and what exactly does it include?
  • Is there a setup fee, a hardware requirement or a contract length?
  • Do you take a percentage of cash sales? Of card sales? How much?
  • What happens to the price if I add a second branch or more staff?

Daily use

  • Does it run on the phone or tablet I already own?
  • Does it work in Arabic and Kurdish for my staff and my customers?
  • What happens when the internet drops during service?
  • Can staff have separate logins so I can see who did what?

Support and exit

  • Who do I contact when something breaks, and how fast do they reply? Is it in my language?
  • Who will set up my menu or service list, and how long does it take?
  • Can I cancel in any month? Do I get my data back in a usable file?
  • Can I see it running at a real business before I decide?

Our answers: IQD 10,000 to 40,000 a month, free setup, runs on your own phone, cash is always free, cancel any month with a file of your data, and support on WhatsApp. Compare every vendor against the same list.
